Electricity Supply Companies

Electricity is supplied competitively in the Irish market by a number of suppliers. A list of suppliers is available from the Commission for Energy Regulation’s website.

Electricity Generation Companies

There are seven major electricity generating companies. All are privately owned except ESB which is a state-owned enterprise.
