The former Electronic Communications Appeals Panel
The Electronic Communications Appeals Panel was a statutory body appointed by the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to hear and determine appeals of decisions of the Commission for Communications Regulation.
Pursuant to Statutory Instrument 307 of 2003 a person to whom the Regulation applies could within 28 days of the decision of the Commission for Communication Regulation notify the Minister of his or her intention to appeal that decision.
Pursuant to Article 4.1 of the Regulations the Minister could then appoint a panel to hear a particular appeal. The Minister was entitled to appoint different panels to hear different appeals or could appoint the same panel to hear a number of appeals.
