Appeals against ComReg decisions
S.I. No 307 of 2003 
the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks & Services)(Framework) Regulations 2003, provided for the establishment and operation of an independent Electronic Communications Appeal Panel to hear and determine appeals against decisions made by ComReg.
S.I No 271 of 2007 the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks & Services) (Framework) (Amendment) Regulations 2007, provides for determination of all future appeals against ComReg decisions to be transferred from ECAP to the High Court. These regulations came into effect on 13 June 2007. Consequently ECAP was disbanded with effect from that date.
